Nanna'S Cinnamon Snaps
- 1 cup butter soft
- 1 1/2 cups caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1 cup sultanas
- 3 1/2 cups plain flour
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice
- flour Extra
- Cream butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
- Add golden syrup and beat well
- Stir in remaining ingredients to form a sticky dough
- Turn out onto a well floured surface and roll out to 5mm thick
- Cut out biscuits with a cookie cutter, place onto baking trays lined with baking paper
- Re-roll remaining dough and cut more biscuits, repeat until all dough is used
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 15-18 minutes, depending how crunchy/chewy you like your biscuits
