Baseball Cupcakes
- cake mix store bought or create from scratch. Choose your favorite - vanilla, chocolate, etc.
- 12 ounces buttercream frosting white, store bought, Chefmaster's recipe, or your own favorite
- 2 1/2 ounces piping gel Red Chefmaster(R), writer
- Make cupcakes following the cake baking directions. For an extra fun affect, use Chefmaster(R) liqua-gel(R) to dye the batter your team's favorite color. Let the cupcakes cool before icing them
- Ice cupcakes with white icing. The icing needs to remain undyed so that it looks like the leather of a baseball. As best as you can, try to not over ice the cupcake so that the shape appears round
- Once cupcakes are iced, use a red Chefmaster(R) piping gel writer to create the look of a baseball. To do this, draw two lines, once concave and one convex, to be the base for the baseball stiches. Add arrow shape stiches on one line that all go in the same directions and then mirror on the other base line
- Bring to a tailgate or ball game and enjoy cheering on your team!
