Gorgonzola Crescent Appetizers

  1. Place the flour on a work surface and make a well in the center. Mix the cheese, yeast, water, lard, butter, and the salt in the well.
  2. Knead the dough and shape it into a ball, cover it, and let it rise for 50 to 60 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle approximately 1.5 centimeters in thickness, then cut it into 5 centimeter squares or rhombus, brush with beaten egg, place them on a baking sheet leaving some space between each, and let them rise for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180C and bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until lightly golden.
