Gorgonzola Crescent Appetizers
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups gorgonzola cheese mild
- 2 1/2 tablespoons yeast brewer's
- 1/2 cup water approximately
- 3 7/8 tablespoons lard
- 3 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 5/16 teaspoons salt
- Place the flour on a work surface and make a well in the center. Mix the cheese, yeast, water, lard, butter, and the salt in the well.
- Knead the dough and shape it into a ball, cover it, and let it rise for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle approximately 1.5 centimeters in thickness, then cut it into 5 centimeter squares or rhombus, brush with beaten egg, place them on a baking sheet leaving some space between each, and let them rise for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180C and bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until lightly golden.
