Hawaiian Curry*

  1. Add milk to the grated coconut and bring mixture to a simmering temperature.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, apples and onions to mixture.
  3. Blend curry powder with 2 tablespoons of butter.
  4. Add curry powder and butter mixture to the coconut mixture and cook slowly for three hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove mixture from heat and let stand in a cool place for several hours or until the next day.
