Phyllo Cups
- 1 box mini phyllo shells
- 4 ounces goat cheese
- 1/4 cup walnuts you could substitute Pecans
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves roughly chopped
- 3 tablespoons preserves Pear
- 3 tablespoons honey
- turbinado sugar for sprinkling on top
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Remove Fillo shells from packaging and place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
- To fill each shell: sprinkle some (about 1/4 tsp) of the chopped thyme into each cup.
- Drizzle (about 1/2 tsp) honey into each cup.
- Top with a small amount (about 1/2 tsp) of pear preserves.
- Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese (about 1 tsp) evenly amongst shells.
- Top each cup with (roughly 3/4 tsp) walnut pieces.
- Sprinkle with a few pinches of turbinado sugar.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until Fillo is golden and crisp.
- Transfer baked cups to serving platter. Serve garnished with additional fresh thyme, honey and pear preserves.
