Stuffed Turkey Roll

  1. Combine egg, oats, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Add turkey and mix well.
  3. On waxed paper, pat mixture to a 12 x 9-inch rectangle. In saucepan, cook onion and celery in margarine until tender. Stir in sage, thyme, pepper and salt.
  4. Toss with bread cubes and 2 tablespoons water.
  5. Spread on meat mixture.
  6. Roll up meat, jelly roll style, starting from narrow end; press edge to seal.
  7. Seal ends.
  8. Transfer roll, seam-side down, to greased loaf pan.
  9. Halve bacon strips crosswise atop turkey roll.
  10. Bake, uncovered, at 325u0b0 for 60 minutes.
