Health Bars With Seeds, Nuts And Dried Fruits
- 1 1/4 cups spelt flakes
- 2 cups medium rye flour
- 5/8 cup flaxseeds crushed
- 3 3/4 cups dried apricots chopped into pieces
- 1/2 cup pitted dates chopped into pieces
- 1 apple shredded
- 1 1/4 cups walnuts chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 3/4 plain low fat yogurt
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Chop the apricots, dates & walnuts into relative large pieces
- Add the apple and yogurt to the dry ingredients.
- Stir until mixed well.
- Put baking paper in an oven proof dish (25x25 cm).
- Spread the dough evenly in the oven proof dish.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350 F for 1 hour & 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool down before cutting into slices.
- Can be frozen. Slice and take out a piece when you like.
