Tostado Casserole

• 1 lb. ground beef
• 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 envelope taco seasoning
• 2 1/2 c. Doritos
• 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can refried beans
• 1/2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar or Colby)
• thinly sliced lettuce
• tomato bits
• Doritos chips
• hot sauce

1. In skillet, brown ground beef and onion.
2. Add 1 1/2 cups of the tomato sauce, reserving the rest.
3. Add taco seasoning mix, stirring well to mix.
4. Lime bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole with 2 cups of the Doritos.
5. Set aside remainder of chips.
6. Spoon meat mixture over chips in casserole.
7. Combine remaining tomato sauce and refried beans.
8. Spread over meat mixture.
9. Bake at 375u0b0 for 25 minutes, or until heated through.
10. Sprinkle with cheese, lettuce, tomato bits and Doritos chips.
11. Serve with hot sauce.
