Ensalada Espanola(Spain)

  1. Cut cheese and salami into 1-inch strips.
  2. Crush bacon.
  3. Mix cheese, salami and bacon with lettuce, onions, celery, green pepper, cucumbers and tomatoes; toss lightly in a wooden bowl, rubbed with garlic.
  4. Mix vinegar, bean drippings, pepper and salt and pour over the salad.
  5. Decorate with olives and eggs.
  6. Serve with garlic butter on sourdough bread or rye bread.
  7. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
