After Eight Chocolate Cookies

  1. In a pan, melt the chocolate with the butter and allow to cool. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour with the sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the eggs, syrup and chocolate mixture to the flour mixture.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together, form into a smooth dough ball and wrap in plastic wrap and allow to rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  6. Shape into small balls place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Leave to cool completely before removing from the pan to avoiding breaking apart.
