Oatmeal-Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 (18 oz.) jar chunky peanut butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- Beat butter and peanut butter at medium speed until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar, beating well.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Combine oats and baking soda; add to butter mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in chips.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 9 to 10 minutes.
- Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
- Yields 7 dozen.
