Spelt Bread
- 7/8 pound spelt flour wholegrain
- 3 1/2 ounces spelt flour type 630
- 2 tablespoons seeds mixture, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax..
- 1 small carrot
- 1 tablespoon Himalayan salt
- 1 3/8 cups warm water
- 9/16 tablespoon dry yeast
- Mix together flours, salt, yeast, carrot and seeds.
- Make a hole in the middle of mixture and put the water in.
- Put it on floured surface and knead for about 5-8min, until it becomes soft and not sticky
- Put the dough in bowl, cover it and leave it in worm place to rise for about 30 min.
- Knead it again, put it in a baking pan, slash top of bread with a sharp knife and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds..or some other..
- Pour some water in ceramic bowl and put it in the cold oven. Put the dough in the cold oven and let the temperature raises up to 200u0b0C, Bake for 1h, or until it gets dark brown
