Chili Garlic Beef With Chinese Long Beans
- 2 cloves garlic quartered
- 2 long green chili peppers chopped coarsely
- 2 Thai chili peppers fresh small red, chopped coarsely
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 6 ounces Chinese long beans chopped coarsely
- 1 red pepper medium, sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 4 spring onions sliced thickly
- 2 tablespoons peanuts crushed
- Blend or process garlic and chili peppers until chopped finely. Heat half the oil in wok and stir-fry garlic mixture until fragrant. Add beef and stir-fry, in batches, until cooked through. Wipe wok clean and heat remaining oil. Stir-fry beans and red pepper until tender. Return beef to wok along with sauces and onion. Stir-fry until hot. Sprinkle with nuts and serve with lime wedges.
