Open Faced Steak Sandwiches With Fried Egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onions sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 pound steak
- 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
- italian seasoning
- 4 eggs
- salt
- pepper
- 4 slices french bread or Italian
- Heat butter in a large saute pan over medium high heat. Add onions and red bell pepper and saute until softened and starting to turn golden brown around the edges.
- Add thinly sliced meat to pan and cook just until heated through. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
- Remove all ingredients from pan and set aside and keep warm.
- Sprinkle bread with salt and pepper and toast on each side in same pan you cooked the steak. Remove toasts from pan to individual plates.
- Divide steak and place on top of each toast. Add 1 tablespoon butter to the pan, and cook each egg individually.
- Place an egg on top of each sandwich. Drizzle with olive oil and serve warm.
