Pasta With Portobello Mushrooms

  1. Heat a tbsp. of olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Wait one minute and then saute the onion and garlic, cook for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms.
  3. Lower the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing the mushrooms to release their juices.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente in water with salt and drain.
  5. Add the half and half, bouillon, salt and pepper to the pan with the mushrooms. Mix and leave on low heat for 4 more minutes to blend the flavors. Remove from heat and add the pasta to the pan.
  6. Add the butter, stir and serve immediately.
  7. If desired, sprinkle each plate with shaved parmesan.
