Swedish Tea Bread

  1. Soften yeast in lukewarm water for 5 minutes.
  2. Then add lukewarm milk and about half of the flour to make a soft batter. Beat well.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double.
  4. Add sugar, salt, melted butter, raisins, pecans, dates, cherries and remaining flour.
  5. Place dough in bowl and let rise until double. Shape into a loaf.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325u0b0 and bake 45 minutes longer.
