Turkey & Veggie Burger Wraps
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 15 ounces black beans drained, I used seasoned
- 1 onion small, about 1/3 cup
- 1/2 red pepper about 3 Tablespoons
- 1 cup broccoli
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric optional
- 1 dash Tabasco Sauce
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 wheat tortillas wholes
- Cut the broccoli into small pieces and microwave in a covered dish with 2 Tablespoons of water for about 5 minutes or until tender.
- Set aside to cool.
- When cool, use a fork to cut pieces up very small.
- Grate the onion and red pepper.
- Semi-smash the beans.
- Mix all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl.
- Form into about 8 oblong patties.
- Heat oil in a large skillet or griddle. Cook patties about 4 minutes on each side or until browned to desired doneness.
- Top with all the regular hamburger fixings your family likes and wrap it up in a whole wheat tortilla.
