Hazel'S Lasagna
- 1 lb. hamburger
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can stems and pieces mushrooms
- 1 can chopped black olives
- 1 jar Prego spaghetti sauce
- garlic and basil to taste
- 1 (16 oz.) container cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3 to 6 Tbsp. ground parsley
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 6 to 8 oz. total Mozzarella and American cheese, grated
- Brown hamburger with salt and pepper.
- Add garlic, basil, tomato paste, mushrooms, olives and spaghetti sauce.
- Mix in a separate bowl cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, pepper and parsley.
- Boil lasagna noodles.
- Layer in a greased pan, noodles, then meat sauce, then cottage cheese mix and then grated cheese. Repeat.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
