Luscious Lasagna
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 small can mushrooms, drained
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 small carton small curd cottage cheese
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- salt to taste
- Cook noodles as directed on package.
- Brown ground beef with onion, green pepper, mushrooms and salt to taste.
- Drain; add tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce mix.
- Heat to thoroughly mix. Place 4 cooked noodles in bottom of 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
- Layer half of ground beef mixture, all cottage cheese and 1 package Mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat with remaining 4 noodles and rest of meat mixture.
- Top with packages of Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Let set at least 15 minutes before serving.
