Cream Cheese Pound Cake(State Fair Blue Ribbon Winning Recipe)
- 3 sticks margarine, softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- In small bowl, mix flour, soda and salt.
- In large mixing bowl, cream together the margarine, Crisco, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Slowly add flour mixture to mixture in large bowl.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop in small balls on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Makes 6 dozen.
