Puffed Caramelized Banana Custard
- 1 tablespoon promise buttery spread
- 2 banana
- 2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup fat free cholesterol free egg substitute
- 1/4 cup 1% milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons confectioners sugar
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0. Lightly grease 2 (1-cup) shallow baking dishes or ramekins; set aside.
- Whisk egg substitute, buttermilk, vanilla and remaining 1 tablespoon brown sugar in small bowl. Slowly whisk in flour until smooth. Evenly pour egg mixture over bananas.
- Melt Promise(R) Buttery Spread in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook bananas, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes or until bananas are tender. Stir in 1 tablespoon brown sugar and cinnamon and cook 1 minute or until sugar is melted. Evenly turn into prepared dishes.
- Arrange dishes on baking sheet and bake 25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm sprinkled with confectioners sugar.
