Tuna, Cream Cheese, And Avocado Rice Balls
- 2/3 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- salt
- 80 grams cream cheese
- 142 grams canned tuna
- 1 teaspoon chile de arbol flakes, or red pepper flakes
- ground black pepper
- 1/2 avocado chopped and sliced for garnish
- Wash the rice 3 times to loosen the starch. Add the water, cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Once the water has evaporated, turn off the heat, and let the rice rest for 20 minutes with the lid on.
- Add the vinegar and salt. Stir carefully and let it cool completely.
- Soften the cream cheese, add the tuna, chile flakes, and a pinch of black pepper and mix.
- With wet hands, place a layer of rice, add tuna and a piece of avocado. Cover with rice and carefully shape into balls.
- Serve on a bed of lettuce and garnish with avocado slices.
