Macadamia Crusted Halibut Fillets
- 2 tablespoons Crisco Pure Canola Oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
- salt
- pepper
- 24 ounces halibut fillets
- Crisco Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs dry fine
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts crushed
- 4 tablespoons butter at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- oil Wasabi
- COMBINE oil, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish. Pour oil mixture evenly over top. Let stand 30 to 60 minutes.
- HEAT oven to 375u0b0F. Lightly spray baking pan with no-stick spray.
- COMBINE bread crumbs, nuts, butter, basil and pepper in a shallow dish. Blend well with a fork. Place the fish fillets in prepared pan. Top each fillet with an even layer of bread crumb mixture.
- BAKE 10 to 15 minutes until done. Serve with wasabi oil, if desired.
