The Old Rowena'S Famous Bean Salad

  1. Mix beans, onion, green pepper, celery and pimiento.
  2. Bring the vinegar and sugar to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add oil, salt, Beau Monde and pepper.
  4. Pour over the vegetables and mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  6. It improves with time.
  7. Serve on greens or in lettuce cups.
