Lasagna That Is Easy

  1. In large skillet brown grated garlic and onion in butter or your choice of oil. When garlic starts to brown I add the ground beef and season it with Italian seasoning. Let beef cook completely in skillet. Drain grease if necessary.
  2. Pour sauce into skillet with beef. Let meat and sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. While sauce simmers in a small bowl combine ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan and egg.
  4. In a large casserole dish (9X13 should be big enough) layer sauce, noodles and cheese mixture in whatever order you choose. I normally start with sauce, then noodles, more sauce and then cheese mixture. End with sauce and top with saved mozzarella.
  5. Bake on 350 degrees for 40 minutes covered with foil. Then remove the foil and bake another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Let stand at least 10 minutes to set before serving.
