Layered Salad Deluxe

  1. Put vegetables in a 9 x 13-inch glass container in layers. Spread mayonnaise over the top and sprinkle with sugar, salt, garlic and grated cheese.
  2. Cover and chill for 24 hours.
  3. Before serving, add eggs and bacon.
  4. Do not toss.
  5. Serves 8 to 10.
