Broccoli And Crab Bisque(Yields 6 To 8 Servings)

  1. In a 3-quart saucepan cook leeks, mushrooms, broccoli and garlic in butter or margarine until crisp-tender.
  2. Blend in flour, thyme, 1/8 teaspoon salt, pepper and bay leaf.
  3. Add chicken broth and cream all at once.
  4. Cook and stir 1 minute more.
  5. Add cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.
  6. Add crab meat.
  7. Heat through.
