New Orleans Spaghetti
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti
- 1/2 lb. ground meat
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
- salt to taste
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- Cook spaghetti and drain well.
- Slightly saute onion, garlic and green pepper in butter.
- Add ground meat, tomato soup, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and 1/4 cup of cheese.
- Mix cooked spaghetti in with the ground meat sauce.
- Spoon into baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 20 minutes in a 350u0b0 oven. Serves 5 to 8.
