Noodles With Spicy Peanut Sesame Sauce
- 10 ounces dry pasta spaghetti or capellini
- 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil toasted, from oriental grocery
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons corn oil
- 1 teaspoon pepper flakes chile, or to taste
- carrots
- green onions
- Cook pasta al dente in a large pot and drain, rinsing with cold water.
- Let drain for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients (easier if heated slightly).
- Toss noodles with sauce.
- Let stand at room temperature for at least four hours before serving.
- Toss again right before serving and arrange noodles on a plate with any or all of the above garnishes.
