Bamya Bel Lahmeh (Okra Stew With Lamb Meat)
- 1 pound frozen okra
- 1 pound meat Lamb
- olive oil
- vegetable oil I use sunflower
- 1 head garlic
- 1 onion medium
- 2 tomato medium
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate molasses optional
- 2 cups broth Meat, or water if desired.
- white rice optional
- Heat a large pot, add 1 Tb of vegetable oil on high heat.
- Cut onion in quarters, and add it to the pot.
- Add the Meat, brown it, and add water, make sure there are no pink areas.leave it until its done.
- Now in another pot, add 2 Tb olive oil, garlic pieces, and okra.
- Saute for 3 minutes on medium hea
- Add peeled tomato, tomato paste, and Pomegranate Molasses
- Add salt, and black pepper, leave until its done
- Serve it with white rice on the side.
