Chickpea Wrap

  1. Finely chop your garlic, you don't need much so if there is more than you would like set it aside for another recipe.
  2. Next chop your basil and your chickpeas, and set them aside.
  3. Start by heating up a pan to medium high heat, this is important for you do not want to burn the chickpeas.
  4. Add a small amount of olive oil and then the garlic and chickpeas, stirring it around.
  5. If the mixture seems to be drying up, you can add in some of the canned chickpea water or even tap water.
  6. Add basil, salt & pepper, and cumin for flavoring. Once everything is incorporated, take the chickpeas off of the stove; this will be the filling.
  7. Taking the tortilla, spread a generous layer of humus to keep everything together.
  8. Next layer on some romaine hearts and basil, then add the chickpea filling and roll the tortilla.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
