Simple Lemonade
- 6 lemons
- 1 cup granulated sugar can be cut down to 3/4
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup hot water
- ice cubes Some
- 2 tablespoons honey
- slices of lemon optional
- Firstly, we need to make a simple syrup. The purpose of this is because if you mix the sugar and lemonade together, the sugar will take a really long time to dissolve ! Add your sugar into the cup of hot water and stir until sugar is fully dussolved.
- Secondly, squeeze your lemons ( use a lemon squeezer if you have one ) . After that, pour your lemonade into a jar.
- Then, leave one cup of water aside, and pour your remaining 3 cups of water into the jar.
- Add 2 tablespoon of honey into your remaining one cup of water, and stir till the honey is completely dissolved. Once you've done that, pour your mixture into the jar.
- Now add your syrup ( sugar+hot water ) into the jar and stir.
- Lastly, add ice cubes into the jar and add lemon slices if you want to.
- Your lemonade is ready to be served !
