Quick And Light Marinara Sauce

  1. Saute onion and garlic in oil until onions are limp and transparent.
  2. Using food processor or blender, puree tomatoes with liquid and add to onions.
  3. Add herbs and sugar.
  4. Cover and simmer for approximately 20 minutes or until sauce is cooked down to 2/3 of its original volume.
  5. Remove parsley sprigs.
  6. Leave other herbs in the sauce.
