Super Spaghetti Sauce
- ground beef
- 5 cups tomatoes
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 12 oz. tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 1 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- Italian sausage links (optional)
- Brown beef in oil and garlic, crain fat.
- Blend tomatoes into a puree.
- In a crock pot, add beef and tomato puree.
- Simmer uncovered 1 hour.
- Add tomato paste, water, bay leaves, sweet basil, salt, pepper, sugar, parsley, Worchestershire sauce and oregano.
- Cook covered for 1 hour.
- Brown Italian sausage links. Cook until done.
- Add to sauce 10 - 15 minutes before serving. Serve over spaghetti noodles.
