Green Tea Frozen Yoghurt
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 2 tablespoons green tea leaves (loose or from tea bag)
- 2 tablespoons Natvia
- 3/4 cup low fat Greek style yoghurt
- Combine milk, tea and Natvia in a small saucepan and bring to just below boiling point. Remove from heat and stand for an hour.
- Strain mixture and combine with yoghurt.
- Churn in an icecream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Place in freezer until ready to use.
- If you don't have an icecream maker, follow these simple steps:
- Pour yoghurt mixture into a shallow tray (a slice tin or plastic container are best), cover with plastic wrap and freeze for around 3 hours, or until almost firm.
- Remove from freezer, blend in a food processor until smooth and creamy, then transfer back into a shallow tray and freeze overnight.
- Remove for a few minutes before serving
