Indian-Style Meatballs
- 2/3 pound sausage meat
- 2/3 pound minced meat
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons curry powder hot Indian
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 2/3 cups crushed tomatoes
- 1 sugar cube
- 2 tablespoons Madras curry
- 2 teaspoons coriander
- salt
- pepper
- rice
- Mix all ingredients together except the bread crumbs and flour.
- Put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Make balls the size of a large walnut and roll them in a mix of breadcrumbs and flour.
- Cook them in hot oil.
- Set aside.
- Cook the rice in salted boiling water.
- Chop the onion and garlic.
- In a hot pan, add the olive oil and add the onion and garlic.
- Brown and then add the Madras curry and coriander.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and mix.
- Add the sugar
- Simmer on low heat.
- Add the rice and stir to combine.
- Serve the meatballs with the rice.
