Apple And Pear Crumble

  1. Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Place a large, deep pie plate on a baking pan.
  2. For the crumble, combine the oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a medium bowl. Place the butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan on low heat. Stir for 2-3 mins, until melted. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
  3. For the filling, place the apples, pears and 1/4 cup sugar in a large saucepan on high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 mins, until just tender. Stir in the raisins. Pour into the pie plate. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit.
  4. Bake for 12-15 mins, until golden. Serve warm with ice cream.
