Fresh Veggies And Beef Sukiyaki

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok on medium high heat. Add beef and stir-fry quickly, until lightly browned and no longer pink. Sprinkle with sugar. Combine broth, soy sauce and sake; pour over meat. Bring to a boil. Transfer to a bowl, cover and set aside.
  2. Increase heat to high, add carrots, celery and green onion, stir-frying approximately 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Stir-fry 1 minute. Add 1/2 package of greens and 1/2 of meat mixture. Stir-fry 30 seconds. Add remaining greens and meat and stir-fry until mixture is heated through. Serve immediately over hot rice.
