Goddess Granola
- 2 teaspoons cardamom
- 1 cup dried fruit
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 cups old fashioned oatmeal plus the rest of the dry ingredients.
- 1/3 cup flour any whole grain
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt semi
- 2 teaspoons spice
- 2 cups nuts
- 2 tablespoons butter Buds, optional
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring or whatever you like.
- Oil a cookie sheet
- Mix dry and wet ingredients together well.
- Place on cookie sheet evenly and press firmly.
- Place in 300 degree preheated oven on the middle rack.
- Bake 40 min. Or so. It should be just barely golden brown.
- Remove and cool.
- Break into bite sized, or snacking sized bits.
- Store in airtight containerer, in fridge if you have room. Outside the fridge it lasts 3 weeks or more. In fridge it lasts "forever."
