Matcha Waffles
- 2 3/8 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 13/16 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 1/4 tablespoons butter
- In a bowl stir together the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and Matcha).
- In an another bowl stir the wet ingredients (milk, butter and eggs).
- Make a well in center of the dry mix, and put in the wet mix slowly.
- Put the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Pour some batter onto grids of a preheated, lightly greased waffle baker (use a regular or Belgian waffle baker). Close lid quickly; do not open until done. Bake according to manufacturers directions. When done, use a fork to lift waffle off grid. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm.
