Cod Chowder

  1. Place bacon, celery and onion in a large pan over medium heat. Saute for 2-3 mins, until onion is tender. Add potato and cook for 1 min. Add 2 cups water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 mins.
  2. Combine flour with a little milk to form a smooth paste then add to pan with remaining milk, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens. Season to taste. Add cod, corn and pepper. Simmer for 5 mins. Serve topped with parsley.
