Thai Turkey And Rice
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 pound sugar snap peas
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 3 cups turkey tenderloin cubed, cooked
- 3/4 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons basil leaves chopped
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper
- 4 lime wedges
- Step 1: In a bowl, mix broth, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, and pepper flakes well.
- Step 2: Heat oil in a pan, then add onion and garlic, and cook until onion becomes soft.
- Step 3: Add snap peas and carrots, and cook 2 minutes, then add turkey and cook until it becomes golden brown on all sides
