Giuvech - Bulgarian Lamb Stew With Vegetables
- 3 grams meat 800 lamb, without bones- Cut in cubes of+- cm
- 1 1/4 cups onions chopped
- 1/2 gram green beans - cut in
- 1 1/4 cups zucchini - cut in slices
- 2 paprika 2 red and green, 's - cut in circles
- 1 2/3 cups tomatoes - cut in slices
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove pressed or chopped
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper preference freshly grinded
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder mild
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 9/16 cup rice
- 3 1/8 cups stock veal - chicken
- Preheat your oven on 200u0b0C
- Heat the oil in a stew pot, add the meat and bake until it has a nice brown colour
- Add the onion and the garlic, and bake it with the meat for a couple of minutes
- Add the wine and leave to simmer for approximately 20 minutes
- Mix the spices with the parsley separately and sprinkle half the mixture over your vegetables.
- Arrange the rice (not cooked) on your vegetables
- Cover up the surface with the sliced tomatoes.
- Pour in the stock and the rest of your spice mixture.
- Place the cover on your stew pot and place the Giuvech in your oven for 1 about one hour.
