Giuvech - Bulgarian Lamb Stew With Vegetables

  1. Preheat your oven on 200u0b0C
  2. Heat the oil in a stew pot, add the meat and bake until it has a nice brown colour
  3. Add the onion and the garlic, and bake it with the meat for a couple of minutes
  4. Add the wine and leave to simmer for approximately 20 minutes
  5. Mix the spices with the parsley separately and sprinkle half the mixture over your vegetables.
  6. Arrange the rice (not cooked) on your vegetables
  7. Cover up the surface with the sliced tomatoes.
  8. Pour in the stock and the rest of your spice mixture.
  9. Place the cover on your stew pot and place the Giuvech in your oven for 1 about one hour.
