Fruitcake

  1. Combine dates, pecans, red and green cherries and pineapple in large bowl; set aside.
  2. Combine dry ingredients; add to fruit mixture, stirring well.
  3. Stir in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Spoon batter into a greased and brown paper lined 10-inch tube pan.
  5. Bake at 250u0b0 for 2 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. Cool cake completely in pan; then remove from pan and remove brown paper.
