Low Fat Spaghetti Pie
- 3 cups spaghetti cooked
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup egg beaters
- 1 cup low fat cottage cheese
- 2 cups spaghetti sauce homemade or commercial
- 1 pound ground turkey cooked and drained, optional
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1 bell pepper /chopped
- 1 onion /chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms /chopped
- Combine spaghetti, oil, Parmesan and eggs.
- Press into 10 inch pie plate to make a crust.
- Top crust with cottage cheese.
- Sweat onions/bell peppers/mushrooms and add to sauce.
- Cook turkey and add to sauce.
- Put sauce over cottage cheese.
- Cook for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Cover with shredded cheese and cook for another 5 minutes.
