Breakfast Bread

  1. Measure corn flakes.
  2. Crush to 3/4 cup.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Measure margarine and sugar into large mixing bowl.
  6. Beat until light and fluffy.
  7. Add eggs and orange peel.
  8. Beat well.
  9. Stir in orange juice.
  10. Add dry ingredients, mixing only until combined.
  11. Stir in nuts and raisins.
  12. Spread in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  13. Bake in oven at 350u0b0 for about 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
  14. Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan.
  15. Cool completely before slicing.
  16. Yield:
  17. 1 loaf.
