Homemade Arabic Chicken Shawarma
- cooked chicken in your choice of spices - 1 cup, shredded
- 1 teaspoon chilli paste
- lime a few drops
- 2 handfuls french fries
- 6 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- beetroot
- mint leaves a handful, chopped
- hot sauce / Ketchup - according to taste
- Prepare your french fries.
- Mix the chicken with red chilli paste and lime.
- In a non-stick pan, drizzle some oil, and toss in the chicken. Stir-fry until the slightly crisp texture is attained
- To mimic the garlic sauce used, I've made it the cheat's way using mayonnaise and garlic powder. nix mayo and garlic powder, for the garlic sauce.

- Assemble the chicken, garlic sauce, french fries, and pickles over the pita bread. Top with some mint & coriander. Add ketchup or hot sauce if required. Roll and enjoy.
