Black Tie Sundaes
- 1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup heavy or whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons i can't believe it's not butter! spread
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee dissolved in 1 tsp hot water (optional)
- 1 cup breyers natural vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup breyers chocolate ice cream
- heavy or whipping cream sweetened
- chocolate wafer cookies, crumbled optional
- Bring brown sugar, corn syrup, heavy cream and Spread to a boil over high heat in 2-quart saucepan, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and cook, without stirring, 6 minutes or until thickened; remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until melted with wire whisk. Stir in coffee mixture; cool slightly.
- To serve, spoon 2 tablespoons sauce into 4 wide-mouthed Champagne or martini glasses. Evenly top with scoops of Breyers(R) All Natural Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream. Drizzle with additional sauce, then garnish with whipped cream and cookies.
