Peru Burgers
- 4 servings:
- 2 celery sticks small
- salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons mustard L'ancienne, or similar
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 9/16 pound turkey meat minced
- 3 scallions chopped
- 2 tablespoons chives chopped
- 2 tablespoons red peppers frozen chopped
- 2 mint leaves
- 1/2 malagueta pepper
- salt to taste
- pepper pink, to taste
- olive oil flavored, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 pita breads
- 4 leaves lettuce chopped
- Celery Sauce Preparation:
- In a small bowl, add all the ingredients, and stir until creamy, as pictured.
- Burger Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients well.
- Shape 4 burger patties with the mixture.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in skillet, and cook the burgers for 5 minutes on each side.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the pita bread slightly, then cut open with a knife.
- Place the cooked turkey burgers in the bread, add the lettuce, and the celery sauce on top.
