Steak Kebabs

  1. In a shallow glass dish, combine soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, lemon peel and red pepper.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Add beef; stir to coat.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. Preheat broiler.
  5. Remove beef from marinade and discard marinade. Using 4 (10-inch) metal skewers, alternately thread beef, tomato, mushrooms and pepper.
  6. Place on broiler pan.
  7. Broil 2-inches from heat, turning 2 or 3 times, until meat is medium-rare and vegetables are lightly brown, about 10 minutes.
  8. Makes 4 kebabs.
